Tips for Combining PLR Articles, Video and SEO

First, you can create a video from your PLR articles and post it on video sharing sites to create backlinks and traffic. A PowerPoint slideshow with royalty-free background music or your own voice narration works well. Using your keywords, submit the video to YouTube, MetaCafe, Vimeo and other video sharing sites, then embed it on your own web page.

Second, find a video on YouTube that illustrates the keyword you want to use and add the video to the PLR article on your website.

For both scenarios, optimize the page on your site with your keywords in the meta tags, a compelling headline using header tags, and keywords in the intro paragraph.

It generally means the buyer can change the content and does not have to give credit to the original author when it’s published.

So PLR content is great for web site owners to buy when they run out of ideas or time for filling up their websites.

But not all PLR has the same rights and restrictions. For instance, if you buy a PLR article, the license may allow you to make changes, but not allow you to sell the PLR content and or pass along the private label rights. It can get quite tricky, really. That’s why it’s important to know what kind of rights you need before you buy, and to read the license!

And if you’re a webmaster or blogger who is serious about the long term health of your virtual real estate, you also need to be sure the the PLR you buy is well researched and well written. This is especially important for technical topics like solar energy and green building.

A writer may be able to get by with guesses and opinions when writing about topics like dog grooming or organic food recipes, but you can’t fudge facts when writing about photovoltaic cells!
